I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Really. The stationery at a wedding is a lot like the glue that pulls a wedding design together. Of course, you could have guessed that my first stop was Megan of MaeMae Paperie. She’s my absolute bestie, so I’m bias. Plus, she designed Lady Grey’s new look, so while talking our new brand, we also had my wedding in the back of our minds since we knew it was coming. Megan’s work is always so refresh and I’m so beyond thrilled with how everything turned out.

For printing all of our letterpress pieces, the insanely spectacular ladies of Gus and Ruby brought all our ideas to life. These ladies went so far as to create custom colors for us! Working with them was impeccable and speedy and so easy. It kills me not to be able to show you images of our invites, but I’m hoping you’ll be okay with these sneaks of Gus and Ruby’s work:

There’s something so extravagant about beautiful calligraphy. We are so excited to have Victoria Hoke Lane create gorgeous lettering for us on all of our stationery pieces. We even have a mix of letterpress and calligraphy, which I can’t wait to see in action. How gorg is her work?

our sponsors

We think you will too.

If you’ve ever attended a wedding, you know your priorities as a guest are much different than the bride’s desire for fancy centerpieces. So this post is all about the exciting goodies our guests will experience (and hopefully remember!) on the day of the wedding.

First, will be our champagne toast, which will be One Hope Wine. Their sparkling wine is not only delish, but also contributes to a specific cause. Our order provided 400 meals to children fighting hunger in America. Wow! That felt absolutely incredible to know we could do a tiny little smidgen of good just by selecting a company like One Hope. (Below are two sneak peeks of my bridal shower! More images to come!!!

All of our rentals (and the list is huge!) is coming from Signature Party Rentals, who have worked so beyond hard to make everything magical. I can’t wait to see the entire reception fall into place!

And what is a wedding without gorgeous lounge furniture? I can’t tell you how beyond thrilled I am to have Found Vintage Rentals pieces at our wedding. Their pieces are what take everything to a whole new level! Just wait until you see what we’ve done with their collection.

I absolutely WISH I could tell you what our caterer, RoomForty, has up their sleeves for our wedding feast. It’s truly a feast and there are tons of surprises that we can’t wait for you to find out about. They’ve got a flair for drama–both in flavor and presentation.

That delicious food will be served on GORGEOUS china from Borrowed Blu. Their crew has exceeded anything you’d ever expect a vendor to do–not only are we festooning our tables with gorgeous glassware, flatware, and china, but they’ve also helped us create custom caps for our tables and gorgeous custom napkins. It’s all beyond because Borrowed Blu is pulling it together for us.

Finally, the entire landscape of our reception will be set with Napa Valley Linens. These ladies have gone above and beyond for us by going so far as to sew a few extra tablecloths so we had enough!!! These are the kind of business you want to work with for your wedding day–individuals that go above and beyond to make sure everything ends up beyond perfect.

And for entertainment (likely the most important part, right?) we chose DJ Bobbito the Chef for our reception music. He’s absolutely fab and what I love is that he was able to embrace our vision and work with our tastes.

For our after party, Moxi will be making an appearance for our guests and doing an acoustic set. She’s so fly. Listen to her video below. What? So good.

The number one question it seems we’re asked about our wedding vendors is, “Who is shooting it?” We work with so many incredible photographers, this was quite a task to choose, however our dear friend, Jen Huang won us over. I can wait to see how she captures our moments and all the love and heart we’ve put in to making the day memorable and beautiful. Here’s some of her recent work we LOVE:

For our film, we’ve chosen Elysium Productions, whose work is always so cinematic. Their crew is wonderful to work with and such a joy to be around, which is an added bonus. Here’s one of their recent films that we absolutely LOVE:

We also knew we wanted to give our guests the opportunity to capture moments for themselves, and leave us with an exciting parting gift, so we decided to use Mobile Photobooth to add a surprise element for all our guests. I can’t wait to see the pictures that come out of the booth–we even have some fun props that I’m dying to see put into action!

More to come! We’re only two days away! Say what? How is that possible?

Whew. This last week has been a whirlwind. In four days, my new last name will be Ball! So in celebration, we’re spending all week devoted to our wedding. We’re letting you in on some of the plans, and sharing with you our fab vendors!

To kick off the week, I’m so excited to tell you about my design crew. As a stylist, most everyone figured I’d go it alone when it came to the design department, however I’ve always believed that two heads are better than one, so my partner in crime for the big day is Cortnie Purdy of Canvas and Canopy. She was tasked with the job of editing down our growing Pinterest board, refining ideas, creating new ones, and really pulling everything together for a cohesive look. Cortnie insisted on genius ideas like a mock up (which ended up being the MOST HELPFUL thing we did). Cortnie has truly made magic, and I can wait for you to see what she’s come up with for the wedding. But until then, here are some gorg images of her work:

My dear friend, Lauryl Lane, was always a shoe in for my floral design. She’s a botanical stylist with mad skills that extend far beyond flowers. She’s been with me step by step, and did everything from picking out china to shopping for fabric. Her work speaks for itself, and she really has one of the hardest jobs in the wedding world. I know I’m going to get weepy when I see it all put together, because every time I see her work, I get that way. See what I mean:

Last up, as part of my core crew, is LVL Events. Heather and Lindsey have been an integral part of our planning and I LITERALLY do not comprehend how it’s possible to plan a wedding without coordinators. These gals have kept me completely organized, and take so much from your to do list, you have time for fancy things like a manicure before the wedding. I most definitely know that on the day of the wedding, I won’t have anything to do except revel in it all! Here are some of the gorg weddings they’ve brought together with their planning services:
