Whew. This last week has been a whirlwind. In four days, my new last name will be Ball! So in celebration, we’re spending all week devoted to our wedding. We’re letting you in on some of the plans, and sharing with you our fab vendors!
To kick off the week, I’m so excited to tell you about my design crew. As a stylist, most everyone figured I’d go it alone when it came to the design department, however I’ve always believed that two heads are better than one, so my partner in crime for the big day is Cortnie Purdy of Canvas and Canopy. She was tasked with the job of editing down our growing Pinterest board, refining ideas, creating new ones, and really pulling everything together for a cohesive look. Cortnie insisted on genius ideas like a mock up (which ended up being the MOST HELPFUL thing we did). Cortnie has truly made magic, and I can wait for you to see what she’s come up with for the wedding. But until then, here are some gorg images of her work:
My dear friend, Lauryl Lane, was always a shoe in for my floral design. She’s a botanical stylist with mad skills that extend far beyond flowers. She’s been with me step by step, and did everything from picking out china to shopping for fabric. Her work speaks for itself, and she really has one of the hardest jobs in the wedding world. I know I’m going to get weepy when I see it all put together, because every time I see her work, I get that way. See what I mean:
Last up, as part of my core crew, is LVL Events. Heather and Lindsey have been an integral part of our planning and I LITERALLY do not comprehend how it’s possible to plan a wedding without coordinators. These gals have kept me completely organized, and take so much from your to do list, you have time for fancy things like a manicure before the wedding. I most definitely know that on the day of the wedding, I won’t have anything to do except revel in it all! Here are some of the gorg weddings they’ve brought together with their planning services:
There’s so much more excitement to come this week! Are you ready?
