Morgan wanted to keep her wedding very traditional, but there were SO many cute ideas that she LOVED, so when it came to planning the bridesmaid luncheon, Angela of Angela Marie Events decided a mini-soiree would be the perfect time to have tons of fun and pull out all the stops for an ultra glamorous event. Angela told us, “Her aunt and I decided that this would be a great chance to raid Morgan’s Pinterest account and incorporate all those cute pins she loved!”
The luncheon fully sparkled from the glasses, to the runners, to the desserts. Angela also incorporated her grandmother’s china, which was a surprise! Each maid had a super cute bag from Wedding Chicks full of goodies from the bride. The coral peonies were gorgeous with David Austin roses, hydrangeas, and other beautiful pink florals!
A gold fringe backdrop with hearts hung with gold twine was displayed behind the desserts, while tassels from Snooty Blooms hung in front of the drink table. The southern tradition of “cake pulls” were incorporated into the cake with a topper by Proper Prints that said, “Love my ladies” and the cake backdrop was full of homemade tissue flowers and paper poms. Each guest enjoyed a St. Germain cocktail for cocktail hour and then enjoyed a tasty cup of shrimp and corn soup, a choice of a salad, and many sweets to nibble on–perfect southern inspired treats for this southern bride.
Each girl was amazed at the details of the event and each kept saying “this luncheon is SOOOO Morgan!”
