When Bryan and I were planning our wedding, one of the locations that I DESPERATELY wanted to get married at was Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyards. Located on a vineyard in Charlottesville, Virgina, Pippin Hill is one of the most gorgeous venues I’ve ever seen! We are so excited to be able to announce that they are offering a Winter Weddings Collection package, that not only allows you the opportunity to host a cozy winter destination wedding in the picturesque venue, but also gives you several added perks and savings to make it even sweeter!

If you book your wedding from December 1 to March 16, your package will include goodies like spiced cider and hot chocolate to welcome guests, s’mores, event insurance, and even day of coordination! Want to see some real weddings at Pippin Hill??? Head here!

To show off Pippin Hill, here are images by Eric Kelley from a shoot we featured last year (one of our all time faves!!!). The first image below is by Elisa B. You can see more of these images here and here. To find out more about hosting your wedding at Pippin Hill, download their entire brochure here.

Complete with dinner and drinks, an emotional ceremony and a dance-party reception, The NotWedding has become a killer alternative to a bridal show. Hand-selected vendors perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and the “wedding guests” (aka YOU!) get to hear the music, taste the cakes, and smell the flowers… while enjoying a night of great food, dancing and surprises, leaving brides-to-be saying “I want my wedding to be just like that!” For brides and grooms, the event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what comes after the wedding: a marriage! For participating wedding vendors, the event exposes their business to new referral sources, while also exposing each vendor to a wealth of inspiration, resources and confidence to take their business to the next level.

The most recent event took place in Nashville, and all I can say is, I’m sorry I missed this one. Ready for some gorg images, courtesy of Zipporah Photography, Declare Photography and I Love You Too Photography?

Have you seen Doie Lounge robes yet? How lovely are these?

What’s amazing about these gorgeous robes is not how they look (although yes–they are completely gorg). What actually makes these robes a must have and the ultimate bridesmaid gift is the fabric–they are made from supreme quality bamboo silk, which is so incredibly soft it’s impossible to describe!

3

We also love that these gorg robes are something that will be a great reminder of your wedding day and the time you spent getting ready with your girls! To see some other real brides who’ve use Doie Lounge Robes on their big day, check out their real weddings page. How gorgeous do these robes make your “getting ready” photos? We also love that if you are buying for your bridesmaids, you can get bulk discounts!

4

Doie Lounge robes are beautifully made, stay put (with the permanently attached outer silk tie and an interior tie), eco-friendly, looks gorgeous on all shapes and comes in a broad range of sizes! We’re not the only ones who are obsessed–some of our fave celebs got them listed as an US Magazine must-have!

If you are thinking you’d love to do luxurious robes for your ladies, be sure to email Sara@DoieLounge.com. She LOVES working with brides to come up with fun color combos and can even tell you about prints that may not be listed on the site. Amazing, right?

Bryan and I are fresh off our honeymoon experience and will be telling you all about the trip very soon, but in the meantime, we are excited to share with you a little bit about The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, the newest addition to our list of beloved wedding destinations. Whether you are planning a surprise proposal, destination wedding, or honeymoon, this deluxe oceanfront resort is geared to a custom experience like no other.

One of the things I absolutely love about The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami is their ability (and DESIRE!) to allow you the opportunity to get creative with your wedding. The menu, for example, is completely up to what you’d like! Rather than choose from a selection of dishes, they allow you to customize everything, which if you’ve done enough venue hunting, is something we know is very unique about a location. We also love that The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami offers cultural customization, with authentic recipes, areas to accommodate unique traditions, and even decor elements, like the chuppah for Jewish ceremonies or a mandap for Indian ceremonies.

One of the best parts about The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami is that they have a number of different venues within the resort. We love the idea of a welcome party at the Dune Oceanfront Burger Lounge (pictured above), then perhaps a rehearsal dinner at the Oceanfront Beach (pictured below).

590x420_RCKEYBI_00211_143892

From there, the Grand Lawn is the perfect spot for a jaw dropping ceremony (pictured below).

590x420_RCKEYBI_00209_143892

And then of course, a reception in the Grand Ballroom with chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows, ocean views, and an oceanfront terrace perfect for soaking in the balmy Florida nights!

With the feeling of the Caribbean, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami allows you to completely escape to paradise. Their 20,000 square foot spa adds to getaway mentality, so you and your bridal party (or you and your husband) can relax before (and after!) the big day.

So if you are planning a destination wedding (or honeymoon) and want a place that feels worlds away, but is much closer to home, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami is the absolute perfect spot. The luxurious offering of whatever you want is hard to resist! To start planning with the professionals of The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami call (305) 365-4212.
