Today, we wanted to highlight three designers that we think are answering that call in a profound way–each with a unique approach to making a difference in their industry.

Danhov is an award winning designer of handmade engagement rings with a focus on the nature of their production process. We are very pleased to introduce to you one of the newest members of our Grey Collective, DarkerShadesofBrown Photography. Their work, which has it roots in street photography in NYC, is reflective of their photojournalistic style with an emphasis on connecting with clients.

DarkerShadesofBrown Photography believes good photography comes from having a good relationship with their clients. “Our job,” says principal photographer Daniel Lanton, “is to create an environment where people can just be themselves so that the photographs happen naturally.” Yes! We couldn’t agree more!

Today we are featuring Sarah and Mike’s fall wedding for you, but to see more of Daniel’s work, check out his site, as well as Christine and Brett’s wedding, and Sarah and Rich’s wedding. Orchard Keepers

Orchard Keepers is a new venue that opened it’s farmhouse doors late last year and was spotted by The Venue Report who finds new and unique celebration locations for weddings, elopements, dinner parties, group getaways and more. The clean countryside backdrop includes an ambiance composed of elements like the thriving garden, farm fresh eggs, trees and vineyards (and with 102 wineries in the area, there is no shortage of vino!). You can host up to 55 guests for an event, and sleep up to ten guests across the property, with buildings dating back to the late 1890’s, which all have been lovingly restored to provide “rustic luxury” accommodations with impeccable decor including a vintage French dining table, with chalk white walls, lime wash floors, organic French linen, feather pillows, and treasured objects.
