What a lovely way to start off the first full week of June! Eileen and Andrew’s beautiful spring wedding took place in Brooklyn at a new venue called Liberty Warehouse. I am an absolute sucker for loft weddings in the city, and love how pliable a big open space can be! One of our favorite unique ideas that Eileen and Andrew included in their ceremony is the idea of a “Blessing of the Rings.” We couldn’t resist sharing what their photographer, Trent Bailey told us about the details of the tradition:
One thing they did at the ceremony was have their rings in a family heirloom box passed around DURING the ceremony. They instructed their guests to say a prayer or “warm” the rings. I loved it, had never seen it done, and thought it was such a beautiful way to include everyone that is witnessing your vows.
Very special thanks to Trent Bailey Photography for sharing with us his stunning images!
*Update: We found where you can nab that gorgeous caplet: Holly Stalder!
