Today, we are lucky enough to feature the loveliest of Vegas weddings we’ve EVER seen! Of course, that’s due in much part to photographer KT Merry, who we adore, and of course the stylish bride, who is a fashion blogger (you can find her at Buenos Aires Shop Girl). Be sure to read Natalie and Nico’s inspiring love story below!
As an added bonus, seeing as how we’re sharing a Vegas wedding, we figured it was a perfect time for a Vegas giveaway! For those of you photographers attending WPPI this year in Vegas, we’re offering a pair of tickets to the Silver Rush party (seeing as how we’ll be there with our dancing shoes and hope to meet you!) All you need to do is leave a comment below and you’ll be entered to win! We announce the lucky winner next week!
And now, onto Natalie and Nico’s GORGEOUS wedding!
Nico and I met just over three years ago in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I was living at the time as an expat fashion blogger. As exciting and vibrant as Buenos Aires is, it can also be dangerous, and after an unfortunate robbery, my family wouldn’t let me stay in Argentina unless I hired a bodyguard to watch my back. Not long after he started protecting me, Nico and I fell madly in love. We went on our first date to a small town outside the city called Tigre, which is known for its romantic waterways and island mansions. As we picnicked alongside the river, I knew I couldn’t live without him.
On a casual date night in June 2013, I had decided I could no longer wait to marry the man of my dreams. The night before, I had told my best friend I was going to propose to Nico. After starting on our appetizers, Nico said he had something to tell me, and it turned out he too could not wait any longer to get married. Before I could propose to him, he proposed to me and we decided to get married within a matter of months.
We always dreamed of an intimate wedding where we could truly enjoy the day without the stress and pressure of a large event, and Las Vegas seemed like the ideal place to get away and enjoy our wedding weekend. As a fashion blogger, I can’t resist a little glitz and glam. As soon as I heard that the Four Seasons Hotel offered In-Suite weddings, we knew that option would be perfect for us. It kept our ceremony intimate while still maintaining the touch of elegance that we really wanted.
As both Nico and I are major foodies, we chose Joel Robuchon, Las Vegas’ best restaurant according to Zagat, as our dinner venue. Needless to say, it was the best dinner I ever had.
The day would not have been the same without all the amazing help we received from Leah Koza, Maria Anderson, and the incomparable KT Merry, who beautifully captured our true love on the day of our dreams.
