We’re getting all dreamy and lost in these splendid images from Illuminated Collective‘s recent workshop. It’s light, it’s airy and it’s just plain beautiful. The details, like the gathered local florals, are quietly stunning and the Monasterio De Piedra location is nothing short of spectacular. Lucky for all of us, the warmth and beauty of Ashlee Taylor‘s vintage-style film photography perfectly captured stylist Jessie Thomson‘s vision. Enjoy!
Words from stylist Jessie Thomson:
I was originally inspired by the colors of beautiful egg shells, and this developed into a “from the farm table” concept with rustic elements combined in a sweet and simple way to compliment local produce and the warm stone setting – a beautiful monastery set in the middle of incredibly beautiful gardens in Spain – we foraged local olive trees to add to arrangements created by my lovely (and very talented) sister Georgia at Westwood Design, as well as delicious food produce from local markets. I love that the colors of the florals are so soft and creamy, yet not remotely washed out or too pastel.
We kept the model really fresh and natural with a sheer dress, glowing make up and an elegant pony tail by Sarah Miller. The bridal gown was from a Spanish high street brand, a little luxe for less!
The stationery was a mix of letterpress and calligraphy by UK artist Imogen Owen, with a clean simple design and duck egg blue colouring to the lettering.
