Colorful Oceanfront Inspiration Shoot

We think you’ll agree that the vision to combine vivid floral hues with the blue tones of the California beach is a winning combination in this colorful coastal inspiration shoot by Perfect The Event. The floral arbor by Three Petals Floral & Event Design is an absolute show-stopper, and the perfect “altar” for exchanging vows on the beachfront. The historic Ole Hanson Beach Club offers panoramic views of an expansive lawn and the Pacific Ocean’s softly crashing waves. And Lovisa Photo was there to capture every gorgeous detail of this stunning shoot.

This look was inspired by the ocean waves crashing gently along the beach and the beautiful floral that lines the coast. Between the divine blue tones of the water, and the vibrant hues of the flowers, it only made sense to celebrate the two. Having a colorful oceanfront wedding inspiration shoot meant using bright and warm toned florals, and incorporating the water with pops of cool colors in the textiles and smaller details such as our paper goods from Jen Simpson Designs.

Ole Hanson Beach Club was the perfect venue to host this California coastal dream. Since touches of glam were incorporated we needed our bridal gown to be both flowing like the foamy waves, but also have touches of bling to pair well with the details. Casablanca Bridal had the most stunning gown for our bride, and Friar Tux’s tan suit was the perfect compliment.

The design mixes in metals such as our rose gold laser cut items from Happily Ever Etched to contrast against the Spanish villa feel of the venue. Whimsical floral are featured throughout and the white hanging roses from Three Petals are intended to imitate the fluffy clouds over the horizon. Love Cakes took this fluffy feel into one of their layers, and the colors of the floral into a watercolor design for the bottom tier.

This shoot could of not been a success without such a talented team in place. Corin Cruz made our bride glow, and Baker Party Rentals supplied such an array of mixed matched wood tones that everything tied in so well. This day was captured to perfection by the infamous Lovisa Photo and Cloud 9 Cinematography. Inspiration for the oceanfront wedding couples for days!
