I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

The Forme is a brand new wedding venue located in Burbank LA. It was used as an active studio lot for Hollywood films and television shows for years and is now a modern wedding venue serving up a blank canvas for creative couples. Stylish Details Events transformed the space into an eclectic fete filled to-the-brim with dusty pink, peach and coral florals by Olive and Blooms and a mid-century-inspired tablescape complete with modern sage-hued chairs. Introductions were made beautiful with a stationery suite by Eclaire Paperie and Fantasy Frostings came through with a whimsical, modern cake. We’re loving all the super-fun inspiration and it’s al captured here by Corrie Lynn Photography.

This modern bridal styled shoot—dreamed up, designed and styled by Mae & Co Creative— focuses on the teams current color obsession—coral EVERYTHING. Their favorite color was incorporated in a variety of playful ways; ribbons, candle sticks, florals, and even the groom’s gorgeous linen suit! Passing on the traditional floral ceremony installation_the team added to the modern-graphic vibes opting for a massive suspended textile backdrop. The lofty ceilings and bright, natural light of  The Eleanor really added to the overall effect. The modern, colorful ribbon install above the tablescape was a labor of love while taper candles add lots of fun height to the table and so much color and texture was contributed by Brier & Ivy’s amazing floral centerpieces. You can check it all out here in these images by Kim of Davidann Co.

When done right, a palette comprising of complimentary colors can be absolutely invigorating and today’s beautiful shoot created by We Tie The Knots and team is a perfect example. A traditionally punchy combo of orange and blue feels elegant and approachable in these muted, dusty tones set against the seascape backdrop of the Beauport Hotel. The combo or warm and cool colors isn’t the only contrast the team utilized—focusing on combining both modern and romantic details. We’re loving the sleek acrylic cake risers utilized by Silver Whisk Bake Shop and the soft, flowing florals by Lilac and Lily. Gorgeous invitations by  Fete Collection with calligraphy by Gold Heart Design introduces the colors and mood which Lynne Reznick Photography captures beautiful at every turn in these stunning film images.

Set at the breathtaking Beaulieu Garden, this beautiful editorial brought the inspiration of a 1950’s Al Fresco dinner party to life. Produced and styled by Carrie Moe of Type A Society, the look incorporates a palette of rich blues and deep greens in design details that highlight the decadent charm and ultra-chic fashion of the 1950’s. The dining table features vintage blue and white china, and is filled with fruits and matching colorful florals by Marigold. Paper design is by Aerialist Press and a spectacular graphic white cake by Frosted Cakery nods to the gorgeous Carolina Herrera gown. Lucky for us, the incredible Julie Kay Kelly was behind the lens capturing all the beauty of the shoot in these gorgeous film images.
