Today we’re inviting you to join us on the Amalfi Coast! Ok, so not really but these gorgeous images of Rhianedr & Maxwell’s Italian elopement are about as close as we’re going to get. We’re enamored with the incredible scenery in Grey Collective member Bianco Photography‘s images—especially the way she captures the beautiful bride weaving through the cobblestone roads to meet her groom for their hilltop ceremony. The VIEWS!!! We know you’ll love them as much as we do!
What made the wedding special and unique?
Having a small wedding with just our closest friends and family with us. We were able to spend quality time with all who attended. The setting was also incredible.
Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!
I visited my bridesmaid in Australia and found the perfect gown there (one like nothing I ever imagined I’d go for and would never had tried it on had my bridesmaid not forced me to!) but couldn’t purchase it as it required 5 fittings in Melbourne. I was gutted I couldn’t get it. By pure luck I found a very similar gown by Pronovias when I went shopping with my mum.
What were some touches added to make it personal?
We made name place holders with funny photos of the guests in a Polaroid style. It was a talking point for guests on tables who didn’t know each other (an icebreaker I suppose to explain the background to the photo) and many guests then kept them.
What was the most memorable part of the day?
Seeing all the guests after the ceremony enjoying the moment and the view at Villa Eva.
Tell us how you met and became engaged.
The long and short of it is that he proposed to me in a hotel room in Paris one evening in October after we’d visited our friends who live there. I thought it was a joke as the temporary ring was in the box of the jeweler for the jewelry that I was going to wear that evening for dinner. Then he got on one knee and fumbled with the box!
