I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Natasha and Brad planned a destination wedding at Chateau Elan in Atlanta, Georgia for a long, celebratory weekend. While the pair are now local to the area, neither grew up there, so they enjoyed the chance to host family and friends that flew in from all over the U.S. We are absolutely enamored with these GORGEOUS images shot by Sawyer Baird.

What made the wedding special and unique?

We aren’t from Georgia, so it was very special having all of our friends and family travel from all over the U.S. to come and celebrate this special day with us.

Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!

My gown was a beautiful lace dress by Mikaella from a boutique in Jacksonville, Florida. It was a special day because I had all the important women in my life with me, including my mom, grandmother, MOH/cousin, and my soon-to-be mother in law.

What were some touches added to make it personal?

We had a beautiful chandelier hanging over our head table during the reception, it was a gift from my grandmother that now hangs over our dining room table.

What was the most memorable part of the day?

The ceremony, it was short and sweet, we wrote our own vows and included a reading from Charlotte Bronte.

Tell us how you met and became engaged.

We met in college at Auburn University. When Brad proposed I was living in Atlanta for work and he was living at the beach in Alabama for work. He had been traveling and I hadn’t expected to see him for some time. Then he surprised me in the middle of the week in Atlanta with a 6 day surprise trip from Atlanta to North Carolina. We took a private tour of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC and at the end of the tour he proposed to me in the rooftop of the Biltmore. It was such a beautiful day!
