Grey's Greatest:
Favorite Inspiration from 2013
ideas, fashion, and styling that will knock your socks off!
We’re following up yesterday’s favorites with a post dedicated to our favorite inspiration features of 2013. As you can see, we love color, preppy details, absolute romance, and spectacular fashion!
First up, we were bowled over by this Carmen Miranda inspired shoot by Jennifer Sosa. All the colors and California inspiration makes it easy to see this work for a fun summer wedding!
Whenever something is inspired by Kate Spade, bells start ringing! These images by Anna Delores Photography had us at stripes + sequins!
Magnolia Rouge Magazine allowed us to feature one of their fave shoots by Rylee Hitchner from a recent issue and we were beyond honored! Adore the woodland romance with a touch of gilded details!
We’ve long been obsessed with this Reem Acra gown, so when Landon Jacob sent us this gorgeous shoot, we knew you HAD to see it! What a perfect wedding gown, don’t you think?
These days, we’re in to breakfast, so we loved the idea of this rustic blueberry brunch feature shot by Melanie Duerkopp Photography. Wouldn’t this be perfect inspo for a rehearsal brunch?
Speaking of brunch, you all LOVED the idea of a waffle wedding cake for a brunch wedding. Add a little sparkle, and we just couldn’t resist! Shot by Michelle Kim Photography.
Blue seemed to be all the rage this year, so when Clary Pfeiffer sent us a Sapphire Sun Prints feature (based on a super fun sun prints DIY) we knew you’d adore!
This dress, from Nearly Newlywed is so outrageous, we just had to include it in our favorites! Our darling Jen Huang shot these gorgeous images!
Feather and Stone Photography hosted a workshop at Le Hameau Des Baux–a villa in France. So essentially, already set up for absolute success. This shoot featured a favorite idea of ours: the floral arch! Imagine carrying that back up the aisle as a married couple? I die.
Last but not least, this equestrian shoot from Landon Jacob Photography. The colors, the details, the horses, oh my! We love the idea of a self-serve bourbon station. What a fun idea to add to a southern inspired wedding!
