I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Today is Elizabeth Messina day around here! We’re so excited to have had the chance to share with you some exclusive unseen images from the Knot Magazine fall issue. We thought we’d finish out the day with some absurdly romantic and ethereal boudoir images from Elizabeth! If I were going to have someone shoot me in my skivvies, this would be the woman.

We think you will too.

In addition to an incredible trip, Bryan and I had the chance to sneak in a little mini photo session with Jen Huang. Her work is always so beautiful, and it was so much fun to have her take our pictures! At the end, Jen suggested we take some shots in the infinity pool–oh my gosh! So much fun. (I love the Bryan’s model shot coming out of the water. That was the last frame on Jen’s roll of film and we cracked up watching him get completely into it!). Thanks, Jen for sharing your talent with us!

Last month, Bryan and I had the INCREDIBLE opportunity to do a little honeymoon scouting for you all. (We seriously have a really rough job!). Katie of Ever After Honeymoons is an absurdly incredibly honeymoon planner that knows her stuff, so she brought us, with Jillian from 100 Layer Cake, Jen from Green Wedding Shoes, Leila from Inspired By This and photographer Jen Huang (along with all of our fellas) on a trip to Anguilla and St. Barthe’s in the Caribbean.  The one-two combo of these two islands were a perfect match up for a 10 day honeymoon. As the astute journalist that I am, it’s now time to share with you some pictures from the experience and you can check out the other lovely blogs for even more images and recaps!

This week, we’ll tell you all about Anguilla and then next Friday, tune back in for a recap of St. Barthe’s. All of the images we’re going to share with you are by Jen Huang. (Can you tell they’re almost all shot on film? I thought you could!). Last thing–be sure to read all the way to the end of today’s post–there’s a special offer just for our readers!

For starters, I can’t tell you how much we loved our hosts–The Viceroy Anguilla. If you are the type of couple that wants all sorts of fun things to do, yet still loves the idea of being able to stay at the resort all week long, then the Viceroy is a perfect fit. While there are tons of great excursions to partake in all over the island, we particularly loved how many activities, restaurants, beaches, and pools there were to enjoy all in one spot.

Can we just discuss how rad the hotel’s design is?

Pools AND beaches. I’m not kidding. And the water is perfectly warm. We’re still missing all that perfection!

An infinity pool right next to the world’s raddest outdoor bar. I die.

A snapshot of our rooms and the view.

Yes, that is indeed an outdoor shower!

Super cute Maptote gift bags from Katie!

This is where we enjoyed a crazy good brunch buffet every day!

The Viceroy staff hosted a gorgeous dinner for us to showcase how amazing their destination weddings can be. We were greeting with giant coconuts filled with the world’s most delicious cocktail, which was way too easy to drink!

Our view from dinner:

After dinner, we had the chance to partake in a bonfire with s’mores, Pyrat rum, and coffee. It was fun to talk into the night with all of our colleagues!

One of the days during our visit, we ventured off the island and took a quick boat ride to the tiniest island ever. There’s just enough room for a lobster shack, hammocks, and a volleyball net.

Greatest barbecued lobster lunch, ever!

There are TONS of activities to enjoy at the resort–yoga, sailing, paddle boarding, wine tastings, spa treatments, tennis, and the list goes on. Here’s a snapshot of the guys on the rock climbing wall. They were barefoot–obviously they didn’t last up there for very long.

Bryan and I had the chance to enjoy our first ever couple’s massage, thanks to the Viceroy. Check out their spa facilities:

In fact, that brings us to the AMAZING offer that The Viceroy Anguilla has for you. If you book through Ever After Honeymoons (be sure to tell Katie you are a Grey Likes reader!) you’ll get a free couple’s massage with your stay! Are you for reals? Completely amazing! All you need to do is email her to get started!

All that to say, if you are looking for a beach destination for your honeymoon (or anniversary, or baby moon, or birthday or…???) then the Viceroy should for sure be on your list! We hope you enjoyed our review! Where will we be off to next?

Happy honeymoon hunting, Darlings!

Yesterday, we chatted about wedding registries, and today, we’re chatting about honeymoon registries! We wanted to share with you a little about one of our sponsors, Wanderable, who have made it so easy for you to allow guests to contribute to your honeymoon in a meaningful way!

I love that Wanderable allows you to register for your honeymoon, but also provides online community where you can discover new places and experiences, and be inspired by the trips other members are planning (or dreaming about!). If you have all the household goods you could ever want, registering for experiences instead of just accumulating more stuff is a fantastic option.

honeymoon registry works just like a traditional registry, except guests can gift you a jet ski island tour, high tea in London, or a zip wire adventure in Costa Rica. Yes, please! If you’re ready to sign up, you can go with the free registry option (ad-free, too!), or you can upgrade and choose one of 28 designer themes with customizable colors. Whichever you choose, rest assured that the design will be simple and beautiful.

If you were registering for a honeymoon on Wanderable, what would you register for? For me, I’m dreaming of returning to Italy (and getting some cooking lessons) or going to Bali!

Darlings! If you haven’t yet heard of Traveler’s Joy, you must check it out! It is a honeymoon registry website that allows you to register for your travel, as well as specific honeymoon related activities and products.

One of my favorite parts of Traveler’s Joy is that you get to register for big ticket items, like a $500 camera, and then break up the cost into multiple gifts of $100.

I really think honeymoon registries are so great, especially because you can really personalize the experience for friends and family who want to contribute to your trip! The sky is the limit, so I love the idea of adventurous hiking excursions…

…mountaintop picnics…

…or just simply extra time on the island.

Setting up your registry is SUPER quick and easy, so head here to get started. You can also read some of the members’ stories for a little honeymoon inspiration!
