I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

We’re still putting the final touches on our makeover. While you hold your breath, here is a tiny last countdown: our two favorite ideas from 2012!

Our first favorite idea is from Sarah and John’s darling wedding designed by Jesi Haack Design and shot by Aaron Shintaku. The couple used The Wedding Party app which allows guests to upload and share their photos in one mobile platform. It’s a genius idea and we thought it was so fun it deserved favorite status. Oh. And we loved their fringe too. Knock it off, Jesi! Too good. See the rest here!

Our next favorite idea from 2012 is pretty simple–this classic throwback to metallic balloons at Beth and Jonathan’s wedding was such a chic (and affordable) way to make a huge statement without busting the budget. We love gold, giant letters, and a couple that knows how to party! You can see more of these fun images shot by Jacob Mariano if you head over here.

Next up is Erin and Jack’s unforgettable gypsy caravan elopement shot by Elizabeth Messina We promise–this was a real wedding!!!

We absolutely adored the simplicity of Stephanie and AJ’s elopement and particularly love their bridal fashion! Jessica Burke shot these gorgeous images and you can see more here!

Last but not least is a little bonus favorite. This elopement was an inspiration shoot, but we just adored the styling with images shot by Eric Kelley. You can see more of this loveliness here.

We’re four days away from our relaunch, darlings! It’s outrageous how excited we are to relaunch Grey Likes Weddings. Today’s countdown brings you our four favorite bridal parties from 2012. We can’t get enough of bravery in fashion, so these top honors go to brides and grooms that had fun styling their parties.

First up are these pink and black polka dot bridesmaid dresses picked out by the bride, Brittney. Pattern is going to be huge this year, so don’t be afraid to consider a subtle pattern for your bridesmaids! Matt and Lizzie’s wedding shot by Clary Photo is extra special because the groom (and his ring bearers) chose a traditional Scottish kilt. What makes the look even better are the darling flower girls in tutus and cardigans. There’s something about that unexpected combo that is so fun! See more of this gorgeous wedding here!

Next up is this east coast inspired bridal party. We particularly love the fabulous bravery of the gentlemen–what fun those colors turned out to be! The rest of Lauren and Ross’s wedding images shot by Lori Paladino can be checked out here.

We love love love Jen and Ian’s bridal party and really can’t get enough of those sequin bridesmaid dresses! They are so glam and spectacular! More of these images shot by Patrick Moyer can be seen here!

As a little bonus, I couldn’t resist sharing the Florida inspired shoot we put together last summer. Photographer  Ryan Ray beautifully captured our crazy fun approach to styling your bridal party that I hope more brides will be brave enough to try! Check out more from this shoot here!

The countdown is getting closer, darlings! We’re five days away from Lady Grey’s makeover!! To celebrate, we’re bringing your our five favorite bouquets from 2012. Because I’m such a sucker for great bouquets, this was a near impossible task, so we hope you’ll love what we picked!

First up is this crazy ombre stunner created by Briana Maxson Floral Design and shot by Josh Elliott Photography. You can see more of this sweet wedding here.

Our darling Clary Photo shot (AND DESIGNED!) the next bouquet that has nabbed our hearts! It’s a perfect match to the bride’s romantic dress. We love it all! Check out more of this beauty here.

New York based floral designers Poppies and Posies are one of our all time faves, so of course this elopement bouquet created for bride Anna was an absolute favorite! We heart Jen Huang who shot these images on film. To see more of this elopement, head here!

Last but not least, we went ahead and cheated. Just a little. This bouquet was created by Fayaz of  Bloom Box Designs for our Shoot This Not That workshop. These images were shot by attendee, Janel KG Photography.

The countdown is on! The new Lady Grey launches in 6 days, so to celebrate, we are bringing you are six favorite dresses from 2012!

Another total stand out dress that we are absolutely in love with is Sara’s gorgeous gown shot by Justin DeMutiis Photography. You can see more of this wedding here!

Next up, we adore Merinda’s dress, which was designed and sewn by her mom!!! We’re so jealous–but it’s such great inspiration! Click here to see more of this beautiful wedding shot by Fat Orange Cat Studio.

Caroline’s one shoulder lace stunner by Anna Maeir Ulla-Maija was found at one of our fave bridal salons, Gabriella New York. Charlotte Jenks Lewis Photography shot these lovely images and you can see the rest here.

Samantha’s Romona Keveza gown knocked our socks off with gorgeous ruffles that peeked out at her train. It’s the perfect mix of modern and romantic! More of these images shot by Lauren Kinsey Photography can be seen here.

Jenna’s Melissa Sweet dress has a great story! She fell in love with it and had to hunt down a pre-owned version because it was out of stock. To add her own flair, Jenna decided to make it tea length, which is such a perfect pair with the flirty textured skirt! Cana Family shot these images and you can see the rest here!

We love bridal fashion so much, we couldn’t resist adding a favorite dress accessory from the year!

One of the reasons we love Eileen’s bridal look is this gorgeous ruffled caplet from Holly Stalder. Paired with her Sassi Holfdord gown from Gabriella New York it makes the perfect combo! See more of Trent Bailey’s images when you click here.

Last but not least, here’s a bonus dress from 2011 that you need to see again!!!

Anna’s gold wedding gown is one of our all time favorites. She designed it and had a local seamstress sew it for her! We lovely bravery with color and are over the top in love with her choice!  Janelle Stephanie shot these lovely images, which you can see more of here.
