Natalie and Peyman are a crazy gorgeous couple with a weakness for fashion. So it’s no surprise that we had to share with you their engagement session. I mean–when you are rocking a gown–with a sweatshirt–we’re into it. We’ll let the bride, Natalie, and photographer Krista Mason fill you in on more of the details!
from photographer Krista Mason:
Natalie + Peyman’s sweet engagement session was a marvelous view overlooking the westside. A perfect, clear yet slightly overcast day provide the perfect dreamy look for their session! And that dress custom designed by Chagoury Couture was a perfect way to add a casual and formal look for the session. Dressing it down with a sweater and adding the beautiful Margaret Rowe necklace and then changing into the exquisite detailed lace body suit for a more formal look. And, lets not forget about Peyman’s amazing suites by Giorgio Rossi Men’s Clothing. A custom matching bowtie to Natalie’s dress. Topping off all the details with the cute roadster getaway car. Such a fun addition for an engagement session. It doesn’t get much cuter than this!
from the bride, Natalie:
Peyman and I were introduced to one another through mutual friends. Our friends exchanged our phone numbers one night and the next evening I got a call from Peyman. Our conversation over the phone was friendly and fun as if we had been friends for years…it was very casual and easy going. We made plans to grab dinner that week, knowing that neither of us wanted anything serious in our lives at the time. We connected so well on the phone we decided it would be fun to hang out. After our first date… the second, third, and fourth things just started to happen organically. June 7, 2013 was the night he popped the question! He had it all planned out. We were invited to his mom’s house for dinner with my family (I thought it was just our families meeting for the first time). He took me to the balcony to “help” him with something, and before I could figure out what was happening he was dropping to one knee, unveiling a box full of cupcakes saying WILL YOU MARRY ME?. I was in utter shock and complete disbelief…but all of our friends & family knew about his proposal and plans of action. Sneaky Sneaky! Many moments later, still trying to catch my breath and realize what was happening, I said YES! and as they say…the rest is history!
