guidelines for publication
In order to maintain fresh ideas, Grey Likes Weddings prefers to feature content that has not yet been published on another blog, though we gladly accept submissions that have been published in print. Submissions for publication may be addressed to submit@greylikesweddings.com. We’re trying to make the submission process easier and quicker, so when submitting work, send us ONE of the following:
a link to your own personal blog post
a few contact sheets with 10-30 images
OR
a link to dropbox folder (NO ZIPS!!! Just dropbox galleries!).
Please do NOT send SmugMug galleries, Facebook galleries, PASS galleries, etc. We’ll do our best to let you know as quickly as possible whether or not your submission has been accepted! We do our best to respond to each and every submission. However, if you have not received a response within a week, please feel free to follow up!
For tips on how to get your work published, be sure to check out our Editor’s Notes column. We’re always on the hunt for great real weddings with editorial style images and thoughtful details. You can read our article about submitting to editors here. We do publish engagement sessions, however we receive an overwhelming amount of submissions in this category. We strongly encourage you to check out our Editor’s Notes column on getting your engagement submission published for tips on what we’re looking for!
