Melia earned her first fine arts degree in Canada and the UK and has been fortunate to have been working internationally as a wedding photographer since 2004. She is passionate about creating mood with lighting and composition and capturing her clients at their natural best. Making Maui home base has inspired her to combine in artistic ways the beauty of couples with the unique landscapes and seascapes of her island muse. Melia photographs engagements, elopements and large-scale weddings and offers bespoke service by personally editing every image and designing every album for her clients as well as offering site visits, location recommendations and scouting for the most beautiful photography possible.
