Get ready for some serious eye candy! We’re obsessed with the punchy details like lush floral arrangements, leather accents, a raspberry-hued suit jacket, watercolor patterned linens and golden decor all over the place. We’re loving the way Outstanding Occasions pulled together all the fun details to create a modern-southern ceremony and thankfully, Elyse Hall Photography was on hand to capture it all!
From the planners: With a color palette so bold, it was only fitting that the groom would be dressed accordingly in a custom suit designed by Brothers Tailors which featured classic navy pants and a rich raspberry jacket. The suit complimented the bride’s ornate and classic lace fitted lace gown from Mariee Bridal
The picturesque ceremony space at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale was brought to life with the help of an abundance of pink, blush and cream floral arrangements. The Flower Studio created a backdrop composed of rose gold panels with hanging glass planters filled with hydrangea, roses, and dripping seasonal foliage that provided a breathtaking altar. Rustic benches from Classic Party Rentals were paired with clear modern ghost chairs from Event Rents, giving the space just the balance that it needed. Raspberry colored pillows from La Tavola adorned the chairs bringing in a pop of color. Mismatched patterned blue vases provided by The Flower Studio stood out and gave the ceremony a southern feel. Wooden tables, brass vases, and geometric hurricanes were the perfect finishing touches.
As if the setting wasn’t already beautiful enough, vintage white couches provided by Prim Rentals took it up a notch and enhanced the cocktail hour display. Tea Crockery provided dainty teacups and saucers that were a perfect match for the tea being served at cocktail hour by Teaspressa. The gold drink trays and glasses with gold detailing from Urbana were perfect for serving the peach infused cocktails, and gave cocktail hour an extra touch of elegance, while still capturing a southern vibe.
The invitations designed by idieh design set the tone for the event by incorporating hues of raspberry and blue, with hints of leather for added texture. These hues were also incorporated onto the menus, which flowed perfectly with the table settings. The mixture of blue and white floral and simple raspberry linens provided by La Tavola Fine Linens, were the perfect statement piece to the reception design, and gave our southern aesthetic a perfect hint of modernism. The vintage-esque china and ornate gold flatware from Classic Party Rentals accented with antique colored glassware from The Flower Studio contributed a unique flare to the beautifully detailed set up. The carefully curated centerpieces included rich and colorful floral arrangements placed in leather wrapped mercury glass, blue patterned vases, and rose gold geometric lanterns, and were completed with horse head statues table numbers from The Flower Studio. To complete each guests setting, they were greeted with a savory and sweet biscuit favor from The Welcome Bag Shoppe, in a beautiful hand stamped muslin bag, and the gorgeous white drapery installed by Encore Creative helped create an airy and light feeling to the entire dinner set-up.
The southern-modern vibe was perfectly captured thanks to a mix of textures, colors, patterns, and shapes. From beautiful backdrops to exquisite centerpieces, not a detail was missed in the creation of this gorgeous ceremony and reception space.
