Chris & Anne Marie’s wedding took place on Chris’s childhood property in Caledon, Ontario, Canada. Anne Marie and Chris grew up living not far from one another and were high school sweethearts. They shared their first kiss near the ponds on his property–so it seemed the perfect place to have their wedding ceremony and reception.
They partied the night away in a gigantic tent on the back lawn of Chris’ childhood home. Elizabeth Johnston of Eventdecorator.com orchestrated the entire event, overseeing the 4 day construction of the reception tent. Yes! FOUR days it took to make this gorgeous structure that had carpeting and a dance floor, and 360 degree views of the gorgeous property. Rowell Photography was so intrigued by this tent that we decided to create a time-lapse of its construction straight through to the end of the wedding.
The newlyweds danced the night away until 3 in the morning; breaking only when the food trucks arrived at 11pm. Guests were treated to a truly Canadian midnight snack of comfort foods, poutine and hotdogs.
Very special thanks to Rowell Photography for their gorgeous images, and for the incredibly fun time lapse they shared with us! Are you ready for this?
