In hindsight, every bride that does a lot of DIY for her wedding has a different opinion about the experience. Some gals, who worked their fingers to the bone and went into their wedding stressed and exhausted, it made all the crafting seem not worth it. Other brides, like Katie, kept things simple and enjoyed the process, time spent crafting with loved ones, and sharing their creation with family and friends.
I love the simplicity of Katie and Ryan’s wedding, the beautiful emotion of the first kiss, and the hilarious kiss for their first dance! Very special thanks to Janel of Focus Photography for sharing their work! Also, be sure to check out Katie’s thoughts below!
One of the most special things about our wedding was definitely the DIY aspect of it! Some of the biggest DIY projects were the boutonnieres and the bouquets. After scouring the internet for floral inspiration and DIY arrangements, my mom and I went to the Los Angeles Flower Market on Wall Street to get everything I needed to make them. They turned out beautifully and were definitely a huge hit amongst our guests, especially when they found out I had done them myself!!
